Currently, The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (or Intel ISEF) is one of the largest and most prestigious science fairs in the world for pre-college students. Each year over 1,700 students compete from over 70 countries, regions, and territories around the world, and there is more than $5 million dollars in awards eligible for students at this fair.

Qualifying for the BSEF
Students will qualify for the Buckeye Science and Engineering Fair (BSEF) through their District Science Days. Each District that is completely (or partially) covered by BSEF, will be allocated a number of students (grades 9-12) that can qualify for the BSEF at their District Science Day. These students will then be able to compete at the BSEF for an opportunity to qualify for the Intel ISEF fair.
